Badger Enterprises was established in 1987 by me, Douglas "Badger" Barnhart,and was primarily a consutling firm. I specialized in LAN (Local Area Network), computer communications, and computer graphics. My expertise and experience ranged over a much wider field, such as; custom programming, training, hardware design, hardware repair, hardware maintenance, virtual reality programming, web site design, and commercial photography. I am located in Daytona Beach, Florida, but my client base is worldwide. The success of ventures on the Internet, has become so time consuming that I don't have time to take on any new business.
My primary projects are the design, development, and continued growth of serveral major sites on the Web including; Virtual Reality Mall, Animated Gif Artists Guild (AGAG), and my newest project is Associated Web Artists Guild (AWAG). These project requires me to do the entire concept design, HTML programming, VRML programming, web page graphics, database programming, CGI scripting, and back office accounting design.
Virtual Reality Mall is the oldest and most popular of my current projects. It is the Largest Virtual Reality Shopping Mall on the Web. It has great stores to shop like Bushnell, Hoover, Eastpak, Braun, Toshiba, Norelco, and specialized smaller shops as well. It has Badger's Animated Gif Gallery, a java game room, the entire King James version of the Bible, Badger's Pick of the Day, Badger's Ray Trace Gallery, and lots of other fun things to do. It is in the top 10% of busiest Web Sites in the world.
Animated Gif Artists Guild (AGAG) is becoming an institution on the Web as a place to get accredited as an approved gif artist, as well as one of the best resources on learning how to make gif animations. It also features a monthly competition, which is a great way to get some incredibly good animations for use on "non-commercial" Web sites. I am a co-founder of this organization as well as the Webmaster for the site.
Associated Web Artists Guild (AWAG) is a site devoted to selling all kinds of "Web Media" to commercial web sites, as well as individuals who want the very best for their web sites. We have some of the top named web artists in the world as active members, and web media such as VRML, audio, midi, animated gifs, theme sets, java, cgi, static graphics, shockwave, and will carry the best of whatever media develops in the future.
